LOW ENERGY
Due to the directional nature of LEDs a 300lm ouput LED spot provides illumination equivalent to a 50W Halogen (500-600lm).
With selected LED products providing 60lm for every Watt of power used, compared to 10lm/W for halogen lighting, products can use as little as 10% electricity for comparable ouput.
Used over 10hrs/day this will save 165kWh/yr per lamp or £16.50 at current energy prices.

LONG LIFE
LEDs last a long time, with correctly design units this can be 100,000hrs with normal use.
Our LED life expectancy data is given as L70 (70% lumen maintenance) this being deemed the useful minimum output.
Our cheapest LED products should last 25,000hrs (3x as long as fluorescent). Our higher end products showing less than 1% degredation over 2 years in normal use 24/7 (17,500hrs) giving a 70% lumen maintenance of over 100,000hrs.
Lighting is moving away from being a commodity and with the life expectancy of LEDs should now be thought of as an asset investment.
LOW OPERATING TEMPERATURE
Lower energy consumption of LED technology means less heat generated. In turn this means that less air conditioning is required to maintain a comfortable working environment.
